I like thinking of early solutions for business akin to a blacksmith anvil's;
...There's no benefit to a frilly anvil;
and it's too early to talk about art and aesthetics when you're forging weapons to outfit an army - no one cares about pretty; just get the job done! More Le Corbusier ... than Frank Lloyd Wright. At this stage we're breaking eggs; ...it's messy, so forget about fancy anvils.
However, once you've won the battle or are winning the battle, and are spending the spoils of war ... you have the luxury and privilege to think about the aesthetics; you're building a future through deliberate design, (not reactive), you're much of a Frank Lloyd Wright
, designing organic architecture
integrated your deliberate designs
with the surroundings and using natural materials...
On that note; When thinking about who should be the CTO or head of engineering for your business; are you needing to hire a Le Corbusier, or a Frank Lloyd Wright? ...what do you think?
